Bristol Bay Shared Services, LLC (BBSS) is seeking a full-time Contracts Administrator. BBSS is an Alaska Native-owned company that provides full-service accounting, contracts, human resources, and payroll services throughout the United States.
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the administrative lifecycle of all prime and subcontracts. The Contracts Administrator is also responsible for providing responsive and accurate communications, and ensuring the minimum exposure to risk while achieving optimal cost savings in our strategic sourcing activities.
In this key position, the successful candidate must be able to adhere to internal processes with the ability to work in fast-paced environments and provide organized execution of tasks under time constraints. The ability to manage a diverse workload in changing environments is a must. The Candidate will also have the skill of liaising and building relationships with business unit personnel as well as vendors and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and negotiate commercial contracts and modifications (as needed)
Review federal prime contracts and modifications (as needed)
Assist with issuing and tracking subcontracts, purchase orders, consulting agreements and modifications
Track prime contract information in Costpoint
Assemble and track all prime contract flowdowns
Request certificate of insurance for prime contracts and other needs
Review lien waivers and client releases
Review and track teaming agreements
Review and track NDAs
Administer Costpoint Materials and Purchasing modules
Administer subcontract templates
Review and process bonds and bond requests
Review bond invoices for overhead expenses
Enter data within Government reporting systems as required
Maintain SAM.gov for compliance
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in government contracting, business administration, or law degree
5 years in federal contracts administrative support or other similar experience
Federal contract management experience
Procurement/subcontracting experience is required
Thorough understanding of federal contracting, FAR and FAR supplemental regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and OneDrive
Experience using Costpoint
