Relay information to consumers such as how to engage in mental health services, access community resources, and navigate crisis situations. This position will be at our 24/7 Crisis Call Center in Springfield, Missouri. Job Duties: Provide phone intervention as clinically appropriate and document all contacts on appropriate forms. Consult with area law enforcement and/or hospital emergency rooms and advise regarding alternatives for disposition of non-Burrell clients and Burrell clients. Participates in and contributes to the various staff development activities of Burrell. Provide crisis intervention services and participates in emergency services in order to provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis Attend scheduled conference calls, webinars, face-to-face meetings/trainings, and individual and group supervision. Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Services or designee. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in the Human services field (Master’s degree preferred) Prefer LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC Work independently Establish effective relationships via telephone and face-to-face contacts.
