The main duties include analyzing health status, goals and dietary restrictions, tracking clients’ dietary intake and progress, and educating clients on how to maintain a balanced diet. Job Duties: Complete nutrition assessments and provide nutrition counseling. Identify disordered eating behaviors and provide related nutrition interventions. Provide nutrition education in a group format using evidence based treatment modalities. Function as part of an integrated care team, including agency and partnering agency members, to develop individualized and collaborative treatment plans. Provide staff education on nutrition topics related to physical and mental health conditions. Develop patient education sheets in compliance with health literacy standards. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor’s degree Preferred prior experience working with individuals with varied functioning abilities or mental health concerns Registered Dietician with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, Licensed Dietician in the State of Missouri. Organized and able to manage competing priorities. Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Flexible and adaptable to change. Able to establish positive working relationships with health professionals and be a champion for the value of integration. Able to follow direction and accept supervision.
