Our College Station team has an immediate need for a pipeline Project Manager. In this role, you will provide overall management and supervision of pipeline services staff and be responsible for project scoping, engineering design, specifications development, signing and sealing plans, permitting, client management, coordination with clients’ surveying and construction crews, technical reports and project invoicing.
What you will do:
- Develops project scopes and design guidelines for natural gas pipeline projects, metering and regulating stations, tapping facilities, gas facility support structures, and other related work.
- Provides technical support, engineering design, and specifications development.
- Oversees the development and management of gas pipeline construction plan and profile drawings, station site plan drawings, traffic control plans, and details according to standards/specifications.
- Performs specialized design assignments of a complex nature.
- Oversees pipeline services staff ensuring successful delivery of high-quality products and services to customers on time and on budget.
- Perform project reviews to monitor quality of service to the client. Provide project updates and decision items.
- Coordinates project permit procurement with various cities, counties, TxDOT, and other utility regulators.
- Supports Managing Director with marketing, client relationship management, proposal development and project scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:
- An undergraduate or master’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Staff management experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of natural gas industry design codes and standards.
- Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Experience leading and developing project engineer task leaders, designers, and project administrative personnel.
- Excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and considers safety as the utmost priority.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
