Sr. Estimator

This position will collaborate closely with the Executive and Marketing Team to develop winning proposals! To be successful in this position you will be self-motivated and have a competitive edge.Leadership opportunities include management of staff, nationwide estimating experience across locales, and coordination with team members nationwide. You will be paired with an Estimating Coordinator to manage bid processing.ResponsibilitiesMust be able to prepare complete itemized Conceptual Estimates in support of negotiated opportunities for both Medical and Government ClientsDeals with owners and contractors to resolve technical and/or value engineering matters during the negotiation and contract executionAnalyze contractual documents and contract modifications to determine the scope of work and scope changesPrepares weekly bid calendar and ensures timely completion of estimatesReviews bid opportunities and outline the pros and cons of going after each project for a go/no-go decisionReviews bid opportunity documents (RFP, Plans, and Specs) to identify critical trades where market bids are needed to bid on the projectQualificationsOutstanding knowledge of planning, scheduling, hiring, budgeting, and job costingDeep knowledge of commercial construction materials and methodsStrong management and interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skillsAbility to perform difficult and complex estimating activities typical to the engineering and construction industryAbility to work with engineering drawings and specificationsThe ability to look at any construction project and break down the entire project into the required individual components (studs, nails, electrical boxes, breakers, control points, registers, rebar, steel structure, etc.)Compensation$125,000 - $135,000 yearlyAbout SES Group of Companies LLCSES Group of Companies LLC LEADS the way to a sustainable future for all stakeholders via our leadership (L), excellence (E), accountability (A), dedication (D), and safety (S).
