What are the responsibilities and job description for the BBQ Island Team Member position at BBQ Island?
BBQ Island is currently looking to add team members to our retail stores throughout the valley. We are Arizona’s premier BBQ store, providing the largest selection of grills, smokers, rubs, sauces, fuel, BBQ accessories and much more. We provide a great, friendly work environment and do not use high pressure sales tactics to persuade customers to buy. This is an entry level position. We do promote from within so there is upward potential for the right person. We look forward to you joining our team
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Greeting customers as they enter the store
Help customers select sauces. rubs and accessories for their next cook
Help customers select the best BBQ equipment for their outdoor kitchen build
Providing customers accurate information on a wide selection of products
Keeping the store clean and organized to provide the customers with the best possible shopping experience
Providing support after the sale when needed
Ordering product from our warehouse to replenish stock
Checking in and putting away stock
Weekends required as we are a retail store
General computer skills needed
Passion for cooking and BBQ is highly beneficial in this position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
