Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following:
- Coordinate with architects to ensure that clients' requests and changes are being performed.
- Perform Structural calculations using applicable building codes and specifications.
- Assist the engineer in managing projects and workloads.
- Model structural elements from scratch and make changes as needed to each design.
- Determine the Wind, Seismic, and Gravity loads on structures in accordance with ASCE 7.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in structural drafting/design
- Draft construction documents using the calculations and designs drawn by the engineer.
- Experience in Revit is a must.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam is preferred.
- Completed or pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis is encouraged.
- Detail and goal oriented
