This position shall oversee and be responsible for behavior support services provided to individuals receiving LTSS, and comparable populations including the ongoing management of Behavior Crisis Prevention, Intervention and Stabilization Services for CHOICES and ECF CHOICES members. Job Description: BlueCross, as a federal contractor, may be required to implement a COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Job Responsibilities Maintains working knowledge of all applicable managed Government Programs, such as Medicaid Rules, TennCare Rules, Contractor Risk Agreement, and TennCareSelect Agreement Contracts, as they apply to the administration of behavioral health clinical management services and Quality Management/ Quality Improvement Programs. Represents ECF CHOICES as a behavioral health expert at state department meetings ,external stakeholder collaborative meetings and serves as a member on various committees appropriate to LTSS functions. Responsible for working with the LTSS Medical Director, Behavioral Health Programs VP, BH medical Directors, LTSS and BH management to ensure the integration of physical and behavioral health services and supports and LTSS, as applicable, for individuals in each of these populations, and oversees quality improvement initiatives regarding behavior supports and the appropriate use of psychotropic medications in each of these populations. Functions as the Behavioral Health subject matter expert for the IDD population which includes providing consultation and expertise for complex cases in the LTSS and prospective LTSS population, participation in ECF Choices rounds, provision of System of Support (SOS) training for internal staff and implementation providers, providing formal and informal education to internal and external stakeholders, regarding IDD best practices and provides clinical leadership to the Intersice Support Coordin Willingness to travel within the State of Tennessee and nationally, be innovative & take risks. Job Qualifications Experience 1 year - Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis required 2 years - Experience providing services and supports to people with I/DD in order to increase meaningful employment required 5 years - Experience directing programs & services for persons with disabilities in an integrated setting Skills\Certifications Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability. Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills Proven leadership abilities that promote growth and development of employees Proficient oral and written communication skills PC Skills required (Basic Microsoft Office and E-Mail) Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals. Substantial knowledge of mental health and chemical dependency services and practices, including treatment techniques, discharge planning and transitions of care.
