Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

The Wicked Weed Funkatorium is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced and motivated server for our fine dining restaurant, Cultura.
Serving guests with an enthusiastic and friendly attitude and knowledge of Wicked Weed Funkatorium/Cultura’s craft beers, wines, food, and cocktails. Provides an elevated customer experience to each and every customer, goes above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service at all times, and maintains a positive and confident demeanor on the floor at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend pre-shift meetings (line-up).
- Maintain a thorough understanding of wine and cocktail list.
- Maintain full knowledge of menu offerings and preparation techniques, including dietary restriction information.
- Be knowledgeable with regards to operating hours of Wicked Weed Brewing locations, brewery tours and any promotions/events.
- Take food orders, expediting food, etc. Use seat numbers and pivot points.
- Follow up with guests using two minute/two bite check-back rule.
- Advise GM or MOD of any VIP’s or special requests of guests.
- Serve alcohol to customers responsibly & politely while adhering to training guidelines.
- Cut off individuals when necessary & communicate to GM and/or FOH MOD.
- Accurately tender money and give change for purchases.
- Beer knowledge: Accurately describe all beers on tap & in bottles, compare & contrast beers & styles, know proper glassware and price points.
- Wine knowledge: Accurately describe all by-the-glass wine offerings, and have an understanding bottles available in the cellar
- Complete opening setup, maintain running side work and complete closing duties and light cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized work area / service station.
- Stock service area with supplies and bus tables.
- Must have a flexible schedule (nights, weekends and holidays are required).
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum one year of fine dining restaurant experience required.
- Full service dining room experience required.
- Prior money handling experience
- POS system experience (Toast or DCRS a plus)
- ServSafe certified is a plus.
- Food, craft beer and wine knowledge. Cicerone and/or Sommelier certifications a plus.
- TIPS certification required (in-house training available)
