Education: Licensure in a social service field with two (2) years’ experience providing therapeutic services to the targeted population is required to include at least two (2) years of supervisory experience. Experience in home-based services is preferred.
Experience: Required- two (2) years’ experience providing direct services to at-risk youth. A Master’s degree in a social services related field may be used to substitute for one year of experience.
Supervises: Parent Educators, Facilitators, and Family Support Specialist.
Summary: This position is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure quality services are provided to the service population especially in crises situations while maintaining compliance with established state and federal standards.

Essential Functions:
1. Work in conjunction with the Facilitators and Family Support Specialist to plan and implement individual, family, and group counseling services.
2. Help the team understand family dynamics relating to the client and help in planning client services.

4. Maintain the continuity and integrity of the records and reporting as required for compliance.
5. Maintain records as required by contractor.
6. Act as a liaison between the BCFS HHS Project HOPES Program and outside agencies, including contractor and community organizations
7. Provides effective individual, group, and family counseling.
8. Keeps supervisor updated on status of program.
9. Provides case notes and monthly billing information in a timely manner.
10. Remains updated in the field of counseling and strives to continue learning.
11. Will follow all procedures of the BCFS personnel manual.
12. Work with team to develop and ensure delivery of service plan.
13. Provide 24 hour on-call services to client families (rotating basis)
14. Provide training and technical support to Facilitators and Family Specialists.
15. Make recommendations for disciplinary action of employees to the Director.
16. Using stated policies and procedures report child abuse/neglect.
17. Maintains familiarity and knowledge of community resources and uses these appropriately to meet needs of families.
18. Conducts community outreach in educating parents, professionals, and others about program and agency services, and child abuse prevention awareness.
19. Maintain confidential client files for assigned participants.
20. Other job duties as assigned.

2. Document all participant attendance on a weekly basis, and no less than monthly.
3. Review data entry of facilitators for accuracy and timely entry into PEI and ETO.
4. Submit monthly and annual reports, or more as is required by supervisor/BCFS.
5. Attend all required trainings and meetings.
