Education : Required – High School Diploma, or, equivalent
Preferred – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Experience : Required – 2 plus years related experience and/or training
Preferred – 4 plus years related experience and/or training
Supervises : None
Summary: The Digital Archivist will prepare, store, maintain and retrieve upon request, all digital assets within the content portal.

Essential Functions:
1. Maintain a comprehensive digital archiving system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed.
2. Receives, tracks and responds to high volume inquiries and requests for stored records from internal and external agencies in a timely manner.
3. Processes raw images using the appropriate software.
4. Complete timely and accurate documentation or training in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards.
5. Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.
6. Other duties as assigned.
7. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish
Measurable Deliverables:
1. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
2. Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training and team decisions as needed.
3. Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in BCFS employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
4. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the child and program operations.
5. Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face-to-face with agency staff, vendors, community members and regulatory and contract staff.
6. Compile, prepare, submit and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements.
Credentials, Skills and Abilities:
1. Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including, but not limited to First Aid & CPR.
2. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
3. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
4. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
5. Demonstrate the ability to: a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics
b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish
c. Work in a fast paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
d. Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently.
e. Maintain computer literacy required to the meet the responsibilities of the position.
f. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
6. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Residential Services policies and procedures.
