The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing claim files and other documentation, preparing defense strategies, conducting discovery, attending mediation, and trying cases in both state and federal court.

Duties :

• Analyze claim file and other documentation and prepare a defense strategy
• Conduct discovery, such as depositions and other written discovery
• Engage in motion practice
• Attend mediations
• Analyze the facts of the case and propose a defense strategy
• Report to clients and comply with all relevant guidelines

Requirements :

• 0-4 years of experience in appropriate legal practice
• Admission to the Florida Bar
• Strong, relevant, verifiable experience in bad faith litigation
• Excellent research, verbal, and written communication skills
• Great time management and problem-solving skills
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
• Must meet expectations for billing goals

Education and Certifications :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar
