Field Operations Manager
BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to join our growing team and work in Minnesota. Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN. BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction. Pay is negotiable pending experience and references.
Job Duties Include:
- Managing and developing field leaders, such as Superintendents, Foreman, and potential site leaders by BCI Core Values.
- Drive a safe site environment across all job sites by developing, implementing, and monitoring the Safety Program for BCI.
- Coordinate and schedule labor assignments weekly according to Project Schedules via Field Leaders and Project Managers.
- Anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible, reacting timely and appropriately.
- Develop high performing field team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Foster a high-level of job satisfaction for field personnel, demonstrated through overall morale, productivity, cooperation, and teamwork.
- Implement and manage project quality standards on every project to uphold high customer service standards throughout the field team.
- Track and enforce standards of production for all self-performed work for quality and efficiency.
- Frequent and consistent communication across the organization regarding opportunities or issues in the areas of production, technology, budgets, etc.
- Actively communicate with Field Leaders on progress, performance, and quality of all subcontractor’s work. Reinforcing work of our subcontractors is a direct reflection of the craftsmanship and reputation of BCI.
- Responsible for project completion on time, with minimal punch-list.
- Positively follow and promote all BCI guidelines, policies, procedures, and goals.
- Understand plans, specifications, and subcontractor agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, health and safety laws and ordinances including but not limited to ASHE, OSHA, MDH, and the DOT.
- Host monthly safety meetings, typically the third Tuesday of each month (virtually).
- Collaborate with Human Resources on department needs and tasks, such as, recruiting, hiring, training, employee reviews, wages, disciplinary/reward systems for individual field personnel.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to further engagement of ABC and other benefits for our field teams.
- Develop training programs to promote and grow our field teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Administration, or Similar experience
- 10 years of building and Construction Management experience
- 5 years of leadership experience in a role as Superintendent, Foreman, or other comparable leadership role in the construction industry.
- OSHA30, SWWPP Certified, and Procore Experience (Preferred)
- Efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project trained or equivalent knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license and health card for commercial vehicle needs.
Preferred:
- PC Literate (MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook)
- Procore experience
- OSHA 30
- SWPPP certified

Salary : $77,300 - $97,900
