What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Superintendent position at BCI National?
We are currently seeking a training traveling site superintendent to join our team. This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities
· Learn the day to day tasks and responsibilities of a construction site
· You will train on our software program ProCore and learn how to do BCI National dailies using this program. This is a critical part of our company and we will expect you to be able to use this program daily
· Interactions and phone calls with the subs, vendors and or clients might be asked of you to coordinate or schedule meetings or work schedules for the jobsite
· Pick up material, parts and permits if needed
Requirements
· MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME
· Computer and electronic savvy
· Willing to learn and work hard
· Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be able to pass a back ground check
· Be able to lift over 50 Lbs for a long period of time and be on your feet all day.
· Have some understanding of blueprints, spreadsheets and contracts ( Willing to teach)
· Be able to think on your feet and solve problems
· Must have great organization skills and good judgement
· Will be asked to have a small bag of basic hand tools and a drill
