The biochemist I will work independently, performing all laboratory multitask functions that involve in Conjugation. The person directly reports to the immediate supervisor, assisting him/her with the day-to-day laboratory operations. The position is responsible for completing simple step conjugations in addition to assigned conjugations with good quality and yield. Formats regularly based on production requirements, working closely with the team lead to ensure that weekly assignments are done properly before due dates.

Principle Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Implement and follow all new and current department policies and procedures per departmental SOP’s and Batch Records for all manufacturing functions within the department.

• Follow all departmental guidelines and procedures with minimal Departmental Supervision.

• Maintain all manufacturing batch records.

• Be able to perform data entry in all required databases

• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months to 2 years laboratory experience is required.

• Requires hands-on laboratory experience, performing experiments using basic lab equipment.

• Requires good documentation (maintaining clear and concise records) and effective communication (written and verbal) skills.

• The ability to navigate databases and be computer literate is also required.

• BS in Biology or a life science is required; will consider the equivalent combination of work and educational experience.

• Must be able to work with a team to meet the in-process testing requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures.

• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
