Global Demand Planner - Responsible to Drive Forecast and SIOP Reconciliation for Research Reagents Platform

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Senior Demand Planning and SIOP Manager, this position will be responsible leading the Global Demand Planning Process for BDB Research Reagents, a complex long tail portfolio composed of 15.000 SKUs

• Support efforts to generate and maintain Statistical Forecast through SCM (but not limited to), measuring performance with different forecast error criteria (such as MAPE, WMAPE, BIAS, among others), helping to determine best configuration and time series-based model / forecasting strategy, using portfolio segmentation strategies (i.e.: ABC_XYZ)

• Prepare analysis | presentations as needed to support global demand review meetings with global marketing team, confirming unit and revenue alignment for WW Demand, identifying risks and opportunities, and publishing meeting summaries and action items.

• Support to the activities necessary to produce 3–5-year long Demand Forecast Projections

• Consolidates Demand review data and prepares summary reports for use in monthly SIOP and Finance Reconciliation process.

• Pulls monthly forecast Snapshot data and consolidates for reporting and presentation purposes.

• Responsible to ensure Master Data Process Documentation (as SOP, Working Instruction) are properly maintained and updated

EXPERIENCE

• Preferred 2-3 years’ experience in Demand planning using an ERP system required.

• SAP & SCM (APO) experience preferred.

• Strong MS Excel, Data Analytics, Statistical Forecasting abilities are required.

COMPETENCIES

• Proficient in Time Series Based | Statistical Forecast

• Familia Programing Language in Python | R | DAX ( preferred with usage of packages such as Panda, and others )

• Strong analytical skills and good problem resolution skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Leadership ability to run meetings and coordinate information across several

• functions hierarchy levels.

EDUCATION

• BS/BA with concentration in Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Admin or Operations Management preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS

• ASCM (APICS) CPIM certification completed or in progress preferred.
