We are looking for a passionate clinical microbiologist that wants to be a part of creating a state-of-the-art diagnostic microbiology platform. This position will be responsible for analysing business processes, systems, and services in a global company environment to understand the existing landscape and map the scenarios needed to support our anticipated growth. The candidate will work with product ownership as well as other internal and external stakeholders to create business requirements and user stories, and ensure that stories are ready for development. The candidate will also work with project management to help analyse and streamline the team’s Agile workflows to strengthen the team’s processes.
Responsibilities:
Work with a team with varied strengths to pinpoint molecular microbiology product needs and define product solutions, from concept to delivery
Map complex workflows in multi-pronged systems to ingrate both internal and external products into one user-friendly product
Concisely document product specifications, acceptance criteria, design details, and user stories
Help lead backlogs in order to aim to product completion
Support the R&D team as well as the wider BD team to increase overall understanding of the product during and after development
Provide and drive customer point of view into the organization, workflows and designs
Provide cross-functional influence
Qualifications and key competencies:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience or combination of education and experience in a relevant scientific discipline (i.e. molecular biology, microbiology, biomedical engineering or analytical information systems)
Proven track record in a clinical microbiology laboratory environment and good laboratory practices
Experience with and understanding of LIS, EHR or medical software
Displays highly motivated inner drive and a can-do spirit
Strong written and oral communication skills
Nice-To-Have:
Experience in an FDA/ISO regulated environment
Experience with Agile development processes
Experience with software and systems development lifecycles
This position can be remote.
