This position is responsible for packaging, rework and assembly of medical products under direct supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Adheres to GMP, safety, personnel and departmental policies as set forth by Standard Operating Procedures and personnel Manual.
Assembles, packages, rework, inspects and inventories all products and/or components as prescribed by the supervisor per operation Process Specifications.
Maintains and accurately records all pertinent information necessary on time sheets, control forms, move tickets, etc.
Reports any unusual occurrences that may affect the quality, form, fit or function of any products and/or components associated with the Production Department.
Assures that all cleaning and/or sanitizing of the workstation have been performed prior to production start-up.
Maintains efficiency levels as defined by Industrial Engineering Standards.
Maintains product/component segregation.
Performs other related duties as required or requested by Production Management.
Attends training sessions as directed.
Helps train other production operators as directed.
Conforms to new processes and procedures as directed.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
1 Year of warehouse experience preferred
Attention to detail
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to supervisor, production clerk and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to complete basic math calculations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense when carrying out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision.
Accuracy, completeness and attention to detail are essential.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
A person in this job will occasionally be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise and will work near moving mechanical parts.
This is a manufacturing clean room environment.
