Are you a compassionate communicator with a desire for helping others improve their quality of life? Join us as a Demo & Sales Rep where you will represent our client, Sennheiser, and their hearing aid line, Sonova, at your assigned retail location. In this role, you’ll create a best-in-class in-store experience for consumers through immersive hands-on demonstrations of our client’s hearing aid product while also assisting customers in taking a hearing test by scanning a QR code with their phone.  By educating customers, you will drive sales while also ensuring relationships within your store are developed and maintained.  This is a part-time opportunity working 11 am-5 pm or 12 pm-6 pm Saturday and Sunday.  This position runs from mid-September through early December with a possibility to extend! To set you up for success in this role, we will provide 4 hours of training consisting of self-paced online training and webinar format training.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Encourage customers to complete a complimentary hearing test by scanning a QR code with their phone, utilizing the results that will ultimately turn into a sale.
  • Achieve KPIs and strive to consistently meet sales goals and program objectives.
  • Convert product benefits to sales - fully understand the features and benefits of the Sennheiser Sonova product and the available hearing test.
  • Increase consumer sales through proactive engagement and demonstrations.
  • Build lasting partnerships and relationships with store personnel.
  • Engage, educate retail sales associates, and create excitement to increase the rate of recommendation.
  • Gather, summarize, and report via our reporting tool daily.
  • Display a professional demeanor while representing our Client and BDS Connected Solutions.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Background in consumer electronics and/or the retail environment 
  • Experience in sales, demos, and/or customer-facing experience at retail
  • Experience representing a high-end, premium product is highly preferred

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Must be comfortable speaking with customers about potential hearing loss
  • Strong interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features
  • Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results
  • Must be enthusiastic, initiative-taking, have an outgoing personality, and be comfortable in a competitive environment
  • High level of initiative with a continued drive to learn 
  • Strong sales negotiation skills 
  • Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills  
  • Organized and detail-oriented  
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills  
  • Availability to work on the weekends
  • Access to either an iPhone or Android smartphone is required to collect and report activity via our reporting tools.
