What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Rep (Hybrid) position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group?
Our client, a manufacturing company located in Woodridge is looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist their supply chain team. The main responsibilities include receiving and processing complex customer orders, inquiries covering items or products ordered, and supports customers. The ideal candidate maintains ongoing relationship with selected customers, sales staff, and product engineering. The position offers a hybrid work schedule after training with the hours of Monday-Friday 8-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provides uncompromising service to all customers through accurate and timely processing of orders and
- Records and processes orders and/or inquiries received via EDI, email, telephone, and/or through personal customer
- Provides pricing, availability, and schedule information within established guidelines.
- Checks, approves, and confirms orders established and within
- Researches and obtains resolution of variety of customer complaints and
- Serves as communication link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness.
- Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems
- Expedites the delivery of selected
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure fulfilment of customer
- Resolution of technical difficulties and issues with the
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Customer Service experiences in a manufacturing business a
- Able to build effective relationships with customer contacts and maintain personal interaction with top
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Technical interest regarding products and drawings is a
- Strong technical ability including 2 years of ERP systems experience
- Positive outgoing behavior and an ability to work well with
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
