Contracts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain tracking sheets using Excel, SharePoint, and common network drives.
• Conduct due diligence checks on individuals and organizations.
• Ensure files are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Generate standard Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
• Support and assist the contract manager with internal audits.
• Ensure documents are executed in accordance with the Delegation of Authority procedure.
• Respond to functional organization questions and provide necessary support.
• Address customer inquiries via email and phone.
• Track and submit customer deliverables.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Contracts Manager.

Requirements :

• In-depth knowledge of contract documents, procurement rules, and legitimate specifications.
• Familiarity with current and legally binding contractual language and terminology, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Clear adherence to company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn additional programs.

Experience :

• Previous experience with contracts and / or government legal work dealing with compliance and regulations.
• Strong writing skills for detailed contract review and translation of information.
• Experience in reviewing NDAs and RFPS with vendors.
• Proficiency in establishing a new system of records for storing all contracts.
• Effective communication with vendors, emphasizing internal communications.

Work Arrangement :

• Hybrid work model : Initial few weeks in the office, followed by 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
• Working hours : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
• Temporary-to-Hire (TTH) position.
