What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Data Engineer position at Beacon Hill?
dataops, data quality and governance. These include but not limited to, tasks assigned during sprints, research
POC, and validation of new technologies.
You are responsible for the continuous improvement in the data engineering processes and practices as
well as the technical and professional growth of individual team members. This is a working role and
leadership by both technical and professional example is expected.
This position is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the function is aligned with the overall
organization and continuously works to meet critical service levels in access, delivery and security.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Co-architect the next gen cloud data analytics platform
* Increase operating efficiency and adapt to new requirements
* Take ownership of assigned work, monitor and maintain the health of solutions generated
* Support and enhance our dataops practice
* Provide task breakdowns, identify dependencies, and provide effort estimates
* Model data warehouse entities in Erwin
* Build data transformation pipelines in DBT
* Participate in Technology strategy
