Director of Merchandise Process INTERACTION: - This position has extensive interaction with merchant and planning teams, IT and distribution center teams. - External interaction required with: - Vendor partners – specifically SAS SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: - Coordinate with the business to identify and schedule other internal subject matter experts (SMEs) for consultation as required - Validate design viability - Coordinate projects with SAS and Bealls IT - Drive for standardization of vision and processes across channels/organizations where variation does not add value - Proactively work to overcome project related obstacles: assist in resolving issues across functional boundaries - Lead efforts to engage Business users in integration and acceptance test planning and execution - Lead efforts to provide Business user training and post-production support for SBU system owners - Lead efforts in development of end user training material - Provide continuity for Change Leadership and the end user community - Support quality assurance processes and demonstrate “buy-in” to the design - Negotiate contracts - SRUG Committee Representation SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: - Manager of Merchandise Process and Forecast Analyst PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. - Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, etc.). - Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs. QUALIFICATIONS: - 4-year degree preferred - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook REQUIREMENTS: - Team player with a positive mental attitude; self-motivated - Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
