AS A STOCKROOM ASSOCIATE A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING :
- Being part of a team that drives sales through delivering legendary guest experiences
- Receiving deliveries and unloading merchandise from truck
- Processing merchandise received and preparing stock for selling floor placement
- Utilizing hand tools and instructions to assemble product in a safe and efficient manner that meets quality standards
- Executing timely implementation of store merchandising direction, standards, product flow, inventory flexing, adjacencies, planograms, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experience
- Maintaining organization and housekeeping duties in stockroom and receiving areas
- Engaging in teamwork to accomplish goals
- Upholds all safety standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS FLORIDA STOCKROOM ASSOCIATE :
- Prior receiving, processing, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred
- Must have strong verbal communication skills
- Work both independently and with a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goals
- Helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Utilization of PDA and POS Systems
- Ability to work varying hours and schedules to include early mornings, days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 40 pounds
- Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)
- Must be able to climb a 12ft ladder for maintaining and displaying merchandise
- Must be able to reach a minimum of 60 inches for stocking and maintaining merchandise
- Must possess reliable transportation
