What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Warehouse position at BEAM Industries, Inc.?
B.E.A.M. Industries, Inc. of Saginaw are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. We are filling positions for full-time.
We are looking to fill:
- 3 positions on 1st shift- 6:30a.m-3pm
- 2 positions on 2nd shift - 2:30p.m.-11p.m.
- 2 positions on 3rd shift - 10pm-6:30a.m.
Requirements:
- Must have Reliable transportation
- Must have reliable Daycare
- Must have Excellent attendance
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must have valid Driver’s License or photo ID
- Must have open shift flexibility
- Entry level, with 0-6months experience: $13.00/hr. to start
- Entry level, with experience: $14.00/hr. to start
- Wage increase after certifications accomplished.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming Semi's and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Some weekend scheduling is required.

- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
