What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech position at Beartooth Billings Clinic?
PURPOSE/DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This position requires someone who has a strong work ethic, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs., can work outside in changing weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold), they must be able to walk, stand and climb for 90% of their work shift. They will be expected to perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of grounds, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, HVAC, cleaning up after projects, snow removal, basic computer skills and other duties as assigned.
SKILL IN:
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Operating various equipment, tools and machines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., can work outside in changing weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold ), they must be able to walk, stand and climb for 90% of their work shift. This position often requires long or irregular hours, depending upon the needs of the facility.
- May be required to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends or holidays
