Adult Foster Care Support Staff

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others within the DD community, possess a diverse skill set to provide comprehensive support services And work well in a team.

Current CPR/First aid required

Certification to work in an AFH

Duties:
- Implement behavior management strategies to support individuals in need according to current Positive Behavior Support Plans.
- Administer medications following established protocols.

-Maintain accurate and organized client files according to regulations.

-Maintaining a safe/clean home environment for residents

Skills:
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
-Passed (or able to pass) required AFH certification test

-CPR/First aid certification
- Strong conflict management skills.
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately According to OARs
- Understanding of behavioral health issues and interventions.
- Previous experience in working with adults with developmental disabilities/AFH is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
