- Responsible for facilitating student learning, using data to plan, organize and set goals; and maintain safe and orderly environment;
- Responsible for teaching to the South Carolina Career & Technology Standards for Audio/Video Technology and Communications to include basic media techniques for writing, directing, producing, and editing video productions;
- Responsible for facilitating career planning opportunities in the Audio/Video field for students;
- Responsible for assisting students to obtain initial industry certifications.
- Meet the needs of all learners;
- Develop and compile student lesson plans, records and reports;
- Establish and maintain working relationships with students, teachers, parents, and administrators;
- Communicate effectively in written and oral form;
- Maintain safe learning environment;
- Utilize various forms of media & technology.
- Minimum high school diploma/GED required; associate’s degree or higher preferred from an accredited college/university in an audio/video technology-related discipline.
- Must be licensed to teach Media Technology or be eligible for South Carolina educational teaching licensure.
- Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver’s license.
- Required work experience in the areas of audio/video related production with ability to utilize industry-standard equipment and software.
