    Position Description: The Assistant Administrator for Academic Options is the administrative and instructional leader for the FLEX Credit Opportunity programs, and operates with a high level of autonomy under the direction of the FLEX Administrator and in alignment with District policies, labor agreements, state regulations, and federal statutes. The Assistant Administrator operates with guided independence and has significant accountability for the operation of the programs, making a demonstrable positive impact on the achievement and success of students. The Assistant Administrrator for Academic Options is a reflective leader who models resilience, integrity and purpose.

    Required Qualifications:
    1. Must hold or be eligible for an Oregon Administrative License.
    2. Must have experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
    3. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with users with different areas and levels of technical expertise.
    4. Must hold or be able to acquire a valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license.
    5. Must demonstrate knowledge of current principles and practices of instructional computing technology and digital tools and curriculum including Learning Management Systems and their applications in an education environment.
    6. Must possess experience leading organization-wide online tool and curriculum implementations.
    7. Must skillfully conduct effective presentations to groups of individuals who possess a range of technology skills and abilities.

    Applicants are asked to attach two letters of recommendation and unofficial transcripts to their applications. If they are unable to do so and are selected for an interview, they are required to bring them to the interview. Official transcripts are required at time of hire.

    If the District is unable to identify at least three qualified finalists from the applicant pool, the position may be re-posted.

    COMPENSATION: Benefit package includes family medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement planning financial products, professional dues, tuition reimbursement and mileage and cell phone stipends. Annual salary: $121,666. Twelve-month (255 days) work year, including 10 holidays.

    To comply with Governor Kate Brown’s Executive Order - “All teachers, educators, support staff, and volunteers in K-12 schools will be required to be fully vaccinated by October 18, 2021. Upon hire we will need to collect a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Card or evidence of a qualifying medical or religious exception from the mandate.
