Role Summary : As a Sales Specialist III, you will partner closely with the Territory Sales personnel and perform regular outreach to new and existing customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with Territory Sales personnel to fulfill orders
  • Manage existing customer accounts
  • Develop quotes
  • Answer customer questions and provide information on products
  • Follow safety and security procedures
  • Heavy use of NetSuite both for ERP and CRM purposes
  • High level of product knowledge
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Regular sales outreach to existing customers
  • Outreach to potential customers
  • Back-up for counter sales
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Retail Associate & Cashier experience 4 years (preferred)
  • Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking strongly preferred
  • Basic Math skills
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Computer knowledge
  • Experience working in NetSuite or a different ERP system is a plus

Other Skills and Abilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Occasional lifting / carrying up to 80 lbs.
  • Occasional squatting, stooping / bending, walking
  • Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in a retail storefront that sells landscape materials to contractors and homeowners. Work is primarily conducted indoors, but there is occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
