Sales Associate

Bedside Manor Ltd is looking to hire a dynamic and inspirational Sales Associate to help to achieve all sales, customer service and operational goals. The Sales Associate should have excellent communication skills, a positive and friendly attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced and fun retail environment. The Sales Associate is responsible for helping to achieve sales goals through customer engagement, store merchandising, and exceptional customer service.

With over 25 years on the North Shore, Bedside Manor Ltd is the premier Chicago area destination for luxury linens, fine home furnishings, and decorative accessories. Our company has two other locations within the Chicagoland area, and we are looking for the right candidate to come join our growing team within the Winnetka location. We offer flexible schedules, with the following store hours: 11AM-5PM Monday through Friday and 11AM-4PM on Saturdays. Come join a fun, dynamic team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Helping to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales objectives in a team-oriented environment

· Proficiency of RetailPro POS system

· Provide outstanding customer service through greeting customers, responding to questions, and improving engagement with merchandise

· Providing customers with educated information when selecting merchandise

· Continuing education of product knowledge while staying up to date on new merchandise and industry trends

· Sending quotes, invoices, and product information over email

· Following up with clients after orders, maintaining relationships, and following up with the sale

· Processing daily receipts, answering the phone, taking messages

· Helping to maintain proper Bedside Manor Ltd store appearance via merchandising

· Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction and store appearance in a fast-paced environment

· Communicating with the Store Manager on matters in the store

QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to work on a small team setting and pitch in as needed

· Strong communication skills

· Positive and friendly attitude

· Self-motivated and eager to learn

· Flexible schedule

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· 2 years of retail experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
