What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Structures MRB Engineer position at Bee Talent Solutions?
Job Summary:
- Design, analyze, and disposition repairs for structural nonconformances in a timely manner to restore model/blueprint design integrity.
- Adhere to company MRB Engineering and QA procedures.
- Interact with inspectors, shop technicians, other engineering disciplines, and management as required, providing support, preparing engineering dispositions, discussing RCCA, etc.
- Maintains a current and up-to-date knowledge of developments in aircraft structures to recommend innovations to improve the quality, economy, and effectiveness of company products and processes.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum 10 years dedicated Structures MRB Engineering experience at a recognized Aerospace Manufacturer. Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters and 4 yrs for PhD.
- 1st Shift position. Typically 4X10 work schedule. Periodic overtime is possible.
- Experience should include creation and justification of engineering dispositions for nonconformances of composite and metallic, pressurized, and non-pressurized aircraft structures.
- Experience should include all components of the aircraft (Wing, Fuselage, Empennage). Wing / Empennage experience is a plus.
- Experience should be in a Production and/or schedule-driven environment.
- Capability to analyze and rapidly design repairs based on equivalent strength/stiffness of the surrounding structure.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate (such as, but not limited to: Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Corridor, Word, Excel).
