Kitchen Lead

Job descriptionKitchen Lead:

The Kitchen Lead will assist in overseeing all food production, implementation of store recipes, ordering, and cooking. Resolving issues that occur in kitchen swiftly is a vital role in this position. He/she may also cover any station or position that is needed.

• Manages all BOH staff
• Orders food when needed
• Helps cover the managers duties when he/she is away
• Resolves issues in the kitchen quickly without escalation
• Helps prepare food items in different areas
• Keeps the line stocked and prepped
• Aids in training new employees
• Produces final dishes that are to the stores standards for guests
• Maintaining a clean workspace that is safe to prepare food
• Keeping the walk-in and reach in coolers clean and organized
• Keeping dry storage clean and organized
• Taking care of trash and floors
• Delegating duties to BOH staff
