Position Title: IT Coordinator
Compensation: $60,000-70,000 per year
Hours: full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
Location: Willow Grove or King of Prussia, PA
Travel: Regular travel to BII office locations required in PA, NJ, and DE

Behavior Interventions was founded in 2006 by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts with a mission to provide quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. We are seeking an IT Coordinator to join our team in either our Willow Grove, PA or King of Prussia, PA office location.
Job Description: The IT Coordinator is responsible for BII’s organization-wide IT systems and technical support. The position upholds BII operations by installing, repairing, and updating computer networks, software and hardware for employees, and assisting employees with technical difficulties. The position reports to the Medical Records Manager or designated manager for all duties and responsibilities listed below and for other duties that may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
Helps determine BII’s information technology needs. Defines and implements strategies and solutions to meet those business needs.
Maintains IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, communications tools (i.e., BII office phones), applications, servers, email systems, software, and hardware.
Provides support with software needs (Google Workspace, MS Office, etc.)
Documents, maintains, repairs, or replaces hardware, software, and systems.
Assists with maintaining technology related inventory.
Selects and manages 3rd-party vendors.
Provides troubleshooting and technical support. Monitors and completes IT service requests promptly and efficiently. Responds to employee calls and helps solve problems, ensuring each situation is thoroughly resolved.
Designs staff training and trains employees as needed.
Continuously analyzes current processes, technologies, and vendors. Identifies and acts on opportunities for improvement.
Researches and evaluates emerging technologies, hardware, and software. Prepares cost benefits reports.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards, systems, policies, and procedures.
Conducts regular system audits on network and data security.
Develops and implements disaster recovery and back-up procedures, information security and control structures. Performs and maintains data backups
Maintain user information including rights, security and system groups.
Oversees IT projects. Coordinates resources and timetables with user departments.
Manages and reports on allocation of IT budget
Maintains professional and technical knowledge through training and skills advancement
Supports technology requirements for meetings and events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in IT or computer science; Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 or more years of IT work experience
Proven experience with current operating systems, equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, security protocols, and system performance monitoring
Expertise with developing, implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
Proven project management skills
Strong creative and analytical thinking skills
Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Investigative mindset to interpret problems and determine effective solutions
Self-motivated and able to complete job assignments without direct supervision
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Effective conflict resolution, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Ability to clearly communicate a problem and potential solutions.
Excellent communication skills to engage with employees and help them troubleshoot problems
Ability to maintain confidential information and follow HIPAA/FERPA regulations
Occasionally working extended hours, including weekends and evenings
Travel will be required at times between offices.
Benefits:
$600.00/monthly benefit towards medical premium coverage after the first 60 days of employment when the employee works 35 hours per week or more

Paid Time Off:
Receives 1 week of vacation time, up to 40 hours per year during the first and second year of employment. Additional paid time off after 2 years of employment.
Receives 1 week of sick time, up to 40 hours annually.
Receives four paid days annually in January, July, November and December for holidays.
