What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Behavior Momentum?

Behavior Momentum is a compassionate and dedicated team committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children with autism. We provide evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to support their growth and development. Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with children in various settings (home/school).
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing environment for children with autism.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Certification: Must be a certified RBT with at least one year experience implementing programs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field (Psychology, Education)
  • Passion for Working with Children: Experience working with children, especially those with autism, is preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members in English. Professional proficiency and ability to communicate both orally and in writing is required.
  • Compassion and Patience: A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other professionals and follow treatment plans.

  • Full-time and part-time positions with consistent work schedule and minimal cancellations (8:30 am - 5:30 pm). Full-time employee's work an average of 37 hours weekly ($703-$925/week)
