Job Summary
The OTP Liaison position is responsible for outreach and MAT referral & education to all touch points where someone who needs help may be identified such as primary care practices, ERs, Detox/residential programs, pre-release, diversion, adult drug courts, housing agencies and other programs based on the community needs. The Community Liaison will work with the BHDDH staff to identify touch points and outreach to a minimum of three per week. OTP Liaison will perform duties within the scope of their license or certification which, when applicable, are an addendum to this job description.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- OTP Liaison will participate in weekly 30 min “Call to Action” calls with BHDDH staff to identify area trends and patterns of concern.
- Education received from the calls should then be disseminated to OTP staff on various subjects such as the number of area overdoses and any new drugs effecting the community or the state as a whole.
- Participate in data collection required by BHDDH to meet the evaluation requirements of the grant funding source.
- Submit monthly report to include progress toward implementation, barriers to implementation and how those barriers were addressed.
- Participate in quarterly provider meetings and calls convened by BHDDH or its subcontractor.
- 100% attendance at quarterly provider meetings and “Call to Action” calls held by BHHDH staff.
- A minimum of three new community-based organizations will be outreached to for educational purposes.
- A renewal of at least 4 community providers via a formal written agreement to demonstrate collaboration and/or integration of care.
- 90% attendance at the Governor’s Overdose Prevention & Intervention Task Force- Monthly Treatment Workgroup meetings.
- 50% attendance at the Governor’s Council on Behavioral Health monthly meetings.
Minimum Requirements
The OTP Liaison Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree; LCDP preferred.
