Representative Payee Specialist

Provide administrative representative payee services, ensuring funds are distributed correctly and records are properly maintained in accordance with the Social Security Administration guidelines.

• Processes Accounts Payable functions. Distributes individuals’ funds in accordance with representative payee plan and Social Security Administration guidelines.
• Obtains, scans, tracks documentation. Maintains folders, internal control logs, and other. Communicates with internal and external customers.
• Reviews individuals’ In-House Accounts logs. Identifies, researches, resolves/reports areas of concern.
• Processes deposits. Prepares fiscal reports. Provides fiscal support to programs.
• Provides backup for other fiscal staff.
Assists in preparation for audits as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

Representative Payee Specialists at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

High School diploma or GED required

Prior accounts payable experience preferred.

Intermediate MS Excel and Microsoft Outlook skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
