Client Monitor
Residential mental health program offering full-time and part-time positions for all shifts. Seeking a kind and caring individual with experience in mental health, substance abuse, and residential behavioral health.
Client Monitor Job Responsibilities: The Client Monitor should be able to engage with the residents and have great bedside manner. Key duties include, but are not limited to;
- Attend weekly staff meetings with the support team.
- Monitor residents by completing 30 minutes shift rounds, providing an end-of-shift report and warm transfers, and client intake/transfer/discharge communication and planning.
- Engages and motivates residents to complete ADLs and attend therapy/groups.
- Ensures patients are attending any and all appointments, including zooms and in person during your shift.
- Ability to encourage clients to participate in daily and weekly house chores.
- Educates new residents on client orientation and patient handbook policies.
- Ability to follow the weekly staff schedule with minimal and timely call outs. Must call out for a shift at least 24 hours in advance.
- Ability to take clients on a 15-20 minute walk daily if requested.
- Ability to cook prepped meals and participate in facility housekeeping and covid sanitation standards per facility policy.
- Protects self, co-workers, and patients by following policies and procedures to prevent bloodborne and airborne diseases.
- Respects patient’s rights by maintaining their confidentiality.
- Ability to maintain the resident database by entering and and all new information as it becomes available.
Education and Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in mental health
- At least 1 year experience in residential behavioral health
- Must be able to clear a live scan and criminal background check
- Must have a current TB test/CPR/First Aid Cert
- At least 1 year of medical administration
- Must have a valid license and a reliable form of transportation
