Summary
A Planogram Specialist will create and maintain a series of detailed planograms that support the layout of Behr's merchandising positioning, at the point of sale, throughout The Home Depot.
This position will work to visually encourage the maximization of sales profitability, in a finite space allocated to Behr, by understanding the flow of foot traffic, the positioning of Behr's products by the consumer's need, how Behr products are branded and an understanding of Behr's product rate of sale.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide strategic support for sales priorities through the design, execution and maintenance of planograms by utilization of the planogram software package, Intactix, by Blue Yonder.
The use of the design framework of planogramming stemming from the analysis of sku productivity data, sales activity, business insights, field recommendations and an understanding of customer's needs.
Responsibility of understanding the above principles will help to drive impactful and profitable business outcomes. Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to planograms based off the analysis of the Sku productivity data, sales activity, business insights, intuition, field recommendations and the understanding of customer's needs as listed above to drive profitable business results.
This role will physically implement the planogram sets through on-hand concept builds at both The Home Depot's Innovation Center and within the warehouse of the Masco Merchandising Center.
The Planogram Specialist will work closely with Behr individuals including, but not limited to, VP of National Accounts, Regional Vice Presidents of Sales, Regional Sales Management, Project Coordinator, Business & Sales Analysts along with limited communication with people from our corporate structure such as Marketing.
In addition to communication with our Behr team, there is a need to develop and grow relationships with our customer, The Home Depot.
Relationships there will be with the corporate based merchant teams (Merchants, Merchant Assistants), Project Managers and MET) in Atlanta.
In addition to Behr and The Home Depot personnel, there are relationships with the vendor community that need to be fostered as in some cases our product coexists within the same merchandising space.
These types of relationships will allow for better building of, better implementation of and better maintenance of planograms that maximize Behr's retail sales success and profitability.
This role is a key contact for the Behr field team as well as The Home Depot.
