Summary
The Clinician will be based at the local police department, and will work alongside police officers in the community providing emergency on-scene assessments of individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The clinician will evaluate individuals for diversionary levels of care, provide follow-up assessments, and provide short-term intensive crisis intervention. The clinician will assist in program development, attend roll call, assist in police training, work with Town departments, and attend community meetings. Evening hours and some weekend availability required.
You will be working with a dedicated team of professionals who have chosen to join this organization with a forty year history of serving people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, brain injury and autism in the community. When the company is at work, they are psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, behavioral specialists, board certified behavior analysts, direct service staff and employment specialists. We are also committed to hiring peer specialists.
Education:
Talented Clinician with Clinical Master’s Degree and Licensed Professional.

- LMHC preferred or
License-eligible depending on experience: emergency services preferred; in-depth knowledge of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 123 and its applications preferred; extensive knowledge of DSM V preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
