Description: Project Architect with 6-8 years local experience in design development and construction drawing production and management of associated activities.

Project Architect is responsible for the production of complete, accurate, and well- coordinated construction documents. Project Architect is responsible for the coordination of consultants, and for communication with contractors/ subcontractors and consultants in order to complete documents and perform in- house construction administration as needed on projects.

Salary: $40K-$60K | Commensurate with experience.

Duties:

• Coordinate and be responsible for the production of construction drawings
• Coordinate with coworkers in a team environment to produce work in a timely manner.
• Produce work according to established standards, methods, and procedures of the firm.
• Assist in meetings with client(s) and contractor(s) to provide interpretation of construction documents and project scope.
• Review, analyze and make recommendations regarding designs, plans, and specifications.
• Interpret applicable codes and incorporate code requirements into production documents.
• Other duties as logically intrinsic to this role.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6-8 years of local professional architectural experience.
• In-depth understanding of building systems and constructability.
• Strong construction documentation (CD) skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawing standards, and code compliance.
• Strong design, computer, technical and graphic skills. Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
• Knowledge in 3D programs (Sketchup, 3dMax), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus.
• Strong communication in English, coordination and organization skills.
• Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
