ROLE
The Shipping/Receiver Coordinator is an essential role to our BCT warehouse and business needs. We are seeking for a person who is dedicated, punctual, and willing to work in a warehouse/production type environment while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
This position is based in Marietta, GA – Warehouse Environment
Full Time: 40 hours per week; Monday – Thursday: 7:00AM – 4:00PM; Friday 8:00AM – 2:30PM – Occasional overtime may be required
JOB PROFILE
- Work closely with warehouse team members to ensure a high level of service and on-time delivery to customers
- Prepare shipping labels, maintain records of incoming/outgoing shipments
- Physically receive and verify raw materials daily into warehouse, and coordinating with Supervisor to ensure inspection and identification of discrepancies
- Perform unpacking of shipment deliveries, loading and unloading of trucks
- Ensure 100% of shipments are out to customers on time and correct
- Process all rejects and notify Supervisor
- Receive all shipments according to material receiving procedures
- Update and communicate to Supervisor inventory count, and what is needed for finished products
- Perform quality checks on incoming shipments
REQUIREMENTS
- Observe and adhere to all Safety, Health, & Environment (SH&E) Guideline and policies.
- Open and willingness to work in a warehouse/production type environment
- Responsible assisting other warehouse team members to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
- Working with hands assembling parts
- Open and willingness to do other duties as assigned
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Enthusiastic go-getter
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to read a tape measure
PREFERRED
- Very basic computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
- Open to learn new tasks
- Forklift experience and/or certifications
- Basic knowledge of warehouse logistics
