Team Member Responsibility

Scope
Direct Supervision: None
Essential Job Functions
- Self-motivated, with a high standard of work ethics
- Conduct route-based vibration data collection and basic analysis
- Conduct routine thermal imaging, oil analysis, and pigment analysis on equipment
- Recommend corrective actions or solutions to maintenance staff
- Perform plant walk-throughs and establish machinery list with pertinent data
- Work closely with Emerson Machine Health Analyzer - including building PdM route databases, producing technical reports, and structured documentation
- Working knowledge of industrial plant equipment
- Hands-on experience with static and/or rotating equipment
- Knowledge of all safety requirements for major maintenance activities
- Technical knowledge about the Bekaert machine and utility types
- Available to travel to other NAM plants if needed (sporadic) and potential travel to international locations for training
- Willingness to work overtime to complete time sensitive projects, and support areas of need within the plant
- High-level analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated, with a high standard of work ethics
- A positive attitude; willing to be an active participant of the team
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a supportive mindset
- Capable of performing the physical requirements of the job including:
- Lifting
- Remaining in a static or mobile position on a manufacturing floor
- Work in hot, dusty, and/or noisy environments.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of predictive maintenance experience. This includes knowledge of vibration, ultrasonic, infrared, oil, and pigment analysis techniques
- Level 1 testing certification from a recognized organization using ASTM or ISO guidelines
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, mainly Word and Excel
- Software and technical skills with the ability to learn new programs easily.
