Electronic Technician Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic systems and circuit boards according to engineering data and electrical principles.
- Use of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and team leads to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
- Assist with quality inspections.
- Record and maintain thorough and accurate records of all pertinent project information.
- Routine exposure to field conditions or actual manufacturing/development laboratory environments.
- Work with equipment that requires the utilization of good safety practices.
- This position also may require occasional local travel to customer site.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or
- 1 related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mechanically inclined - Uses intuition and experience to complement assembly.
- Must be attentive to detail.
- Strong verbal communication skills needed. Responds to others and questions appropriately. Able to read and interpret written information.
- Must be a team player.
- Professionalism - Accepts responsibility for own actions. Applies feedback to improve performance.
- Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, etc.
