Pay Rate: $35.00-40.00 per hour. Contract

Shifts: B (Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 12:00 am)

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team you will be responsible for supporting the integration of various launch vehicle subassemblies. As an Inventory Specialist, you will identify, and confirm configurations of inventory items and acceptance for use, retrieve inventory for building production assembly kits, assist with placing in-bound materials into stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet inventory demands.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily stocking activities of newly received material
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Conduct cycle counts
• Utilize forklift or other equipment to safely handle and transport inventory
• Record the condition, count and any other observations associated with discreet inventory locations and the stock items therein in the provided tally mechanism.
• Replace stock items, organize and identify completed, accepted for use conditions.
• Receive material into stock and putting away into new location and transacting material for kits
• Interact with program managers and/or project engineers as required to remedy unknown conditions

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of inventory experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted. Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required
