Principal Responsibilities for a Project Scheduler include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Planning, Status, Baseline Management, and Variance explanations.
  • Work directly with finance counterpart to support Control Account Managers (CAMs) through to preform EVM updates.
  • Understand Earned Value Management, Scheduling and Critical Path concepts.
  • Support GE IMS Leader with various tasks in preparation for government reviews and program monthly reports.
  • Understands LEAN concepts, help develop best practices and standard work templates to enhance efficient in program execution.
  • Incorporates basic scheduling principles and abides by DCMA Metrics in order to maintain a complaint EVM schedule.
Requirements needed for role of Project Scheduler include:
  • Associates of degree in business, finance, project management or related field or 3 years equivalent work experience.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple / competing deadlines effectively.
  • Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U. S. Citizens
Desired (but not required) for role of Project Scheduler include:

  • Experience with government/sourcing/hardware tracking/SAP/finance.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Strong aptitude in Scheduling software (MS Project, Open Plan, Smartsheet, Primavera, etc.) strongly desired.
