Job Title: Supplier Improvement Leader
Location: 14600 Myford Road, Simi Valley, CA 93063
Duration: 06 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm)
Shift: 1st shift (8 AM – 5 PM)
Job Description:
The Supplier Improvement Leader will be responsible to identify and drive projects to improve supplier performance within the Supply Chain in order to provide benefits to the sites.
Responsibilities:
·Engage with key suppliers based on input from the site supply chain leader and or general manager
·Interact with Internal leadership to determine areas of focus based on the site’s needs
·Coordinate internal improvement activities such as meeting, continuous improvement events and or project plans
·Responsible for development of strategic relationships with our key supplier, stakeholders and ensuring levels of engagement are appropriate to drive progress against agreed objectives.
·Operates effectively in a matrix organization, ensuring alignment across divisions/commodity & working collaboratively with site teams to deliver wider business objectives
Education and Experience:
·Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
·10 years of experience in related field
Skills and Knowledge:
·Project management capability
·Advanced negotiation skills
·Sound business and financial acumen and confident dealing with senior stakeholder
·Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations
·Ability to operate in a highly matrixed organization
·Strong project management and prioritization skills
·Strong interpersonal skills
·Fluent in English language (written & verbal)
·Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
·Strong prioritization skills
