Location: Harrisburg West Shore Area
Essential Functions:
- Support multiple branch locations, inspire ownership among your teams and be an active player-coach. Leads team consisting of supervisors and staff, including responsibilities associated with hiring, training, coaching, developing, scheduling, directing, performance management, and all operations. Ensures that the Assistant Branch Manager is adequately trained and coached to lead the day-to-day operations of the sales and service of the branch
- Oversees performance standards to meet and/or exceed sales and service goals of the branch for multiple branch locations
- Show accountability by taking ownership of the business and willingness to make member-focused decisions when needed. Focus on employee experience, team’s purpose, shared leadership, effective communication/ collaboration, flexibility, and continuous learning. Holds monthly employee 1:1, , including reviewing employee development plans, and completes performance evaluations timely.
- Develops, implements, and communicates various reporting mediums used for goal tracking, volume, and statistical analysis of the area.
- The Area Branch Manager will build a diverse talent pipeline and develop high performing teams to ensure their capabilities keep pace with future business needs.
- Completes strategic and business plan initiatives including the maintenance of branch budgets, focusing on expense control initiatives
- Attains and exceeds credit union strategic goals as determined by Senior Management.
- Be a champion/advocate of the Behavioral Expectations at Belco through every interaction.
- Build and promote branch identity, drive sales, and promote overall ownership and accountability for improving member service and branch success. As an ambassador for our brand, the Area Branch Manager is a visible representative in the field and community helping branch teams cultivate new member relationships and deepen existing ones. Oversees proper controls of the vault and cash operations. Responsible for cash ordering, verification, and disbursement of currency from the Federal Reserve Bank and handled by our third-party armored services.
- Responsible for ensuring team awareness and adherence to all security procedures relative to the handling of member cash transactions, branch security, and internal operating procedures. Must maintain member and employee confidentiality
- Works effectively with members (Internal, External, and Potential), vendors, peers, and senior management.
- Abides by Belco’s policies procedures, standards, regulatory and compliance mandates.
- Embodies Belco’s mission, vision, Belco life brand.
- Any other duties requested by the Regional Sales Manager.

B.S. Degree in Business Administration or Management and more than 2 years of experience in financial management experience in Retail or Branch Banking environment Strong financial and business acumen including experience interpreting reports to drive productivity. Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities prioritize and delegate while delivering results.
