ProSoft is seeking a highly skilled software professional to contribute to new and existing product development efforts. We develop a diverse portfolio of in-chassis, gateway and edge products for the automation industry, using and implementing industrial network protocols, and tightly integrate with Rockwell Automation and other PLCs. The Sr Full Stack Engineer, focused on UI, will be a collaborator with a team of dedicated engineers, as well as work with other engineering teams atBelden that are building advanced integrated solutions.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

As UI lead, design and implement User Interface of the applications. Coordinate with other teams, including overseas development team, on Sprint tasks. Engage and lead discussion with UX team on validating UX design. Work with team to understand the requirements, and come up with effective design and solutions. Break down development efforts into pieces of work that fit in a Sprint. Produce quality code, perform unit tests, and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years experience in JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5
• Must have 3-5 years of strong experience developing applications using React framework, Redux store and Backbone JS
• Must have good understanding on REST APIs and it's usage
• Good experience in UI Development with ability to deliver the needed UI design and functionality to stakeholders
• Experience in UI Prototyping and Responsive Design
• Ability to write highly reusable and scalable code for UI components
• Should have excellent debugging and analytical reasoning skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, withability provide thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
• Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies
• Good project management skills
