As an Asset Protection associate, you will drive store sales and profitability by educating store associates and the leadership team on how to properly and securely protect store assets, while delivering the best customer service experience possible. Asset Protection positions consists of Asset Protection or Store Security Associate.STORE SECURITY OR ASSET PROTECTION ASSOCIATE
• Provide Excellent Customer Service
• Have knowledge of and maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, searches and seizures, and the preservation of evidence.
• Ensures that all theft is investigated to the successful conclusion
• Actively participates in store shortage reduction programs
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Read and speak English
• Experience in retail preferred
• Effective written and verbal skills
• Ability to interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to use and learn industry technology preferred
• Ability to use computer keyboard, touchscreen monitor, handheld devices, standard telephone and other related business equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds and work at heights
• Hand manipulation to remove sensor tags
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
• Completion of Asset Protection training program required upon assignment to positionASSET PROTECTION MANAGER
• Ensures programs to prevent and detect theft are followed
• Directs/assists store with investigations, interviews and case procedure
• Ensures that all associates receive loss prevention awareness and emergency procedure training
• Two year college degree and/or two years retail loss prevention experience
• Familiar with standard PCs and business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
• Ability to operate standard phone, computer, calculator and other business machines
• Ability to travel
• Ability to perform some lifting (25-50 lbs)
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds and work at heights
• Ability to operate photographic and video equipment
